Common Questions
Does the app require an account or internet connection?
No. Calculations and bundled technical references work locally without an account, backend, or network connection.
Why is a calculation unavailable?
Confirm that resolution values are positive whole numbers and that pixel size, working distance, and field of view are greater than zero.
Are the results final component recommendations?
No. Results are simplified engineering estimates. Verify image circle, working distance, distortion, resolving power, field coverage, tolerances, and mounting constraints with current vendor documentation and physical testing.
Does sharing upload my report?
No. The app creates the report image on your device. It leaves the app only when you open the iOS Share Sheet and choose a destination.
